Archiving Policy

The Journal of Medical & Health Sciences Review (JMHSR) is committed to the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content.

1. Digital Preservation

JMHSR uses digital preservation mechanisms provided through its Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to support the long-term availability of published articles and associated metadata.

2. LOCKSS Preservation

JMHSR provides a LOCKSS Publisher Manifest through its OJS platform. The LOCKSS system is permitted to collect, preserve, and serve the journal’s archival content for long-term preservation. JMHSR

3. CLOCKSS Preservation

JMHSR also provides a CLOCKSS Publisher Manifest. The CLOCKSS system is permitted to ingest, preserve, and serve the journal’s archival content to support continued access to published scholarly material. JMHSR

4. Permanent Access

Published articles, issues, and related metadata are maintained through the journal website and supported preservation mechanisms to help ensure continued availability of the scholarly record.

5. Open Access Archiving

Archived content remains openly accessible in accordance with the journal’s Open Access Policy and the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) License.

6. Metadata Preservation

JMHSR maintains article-level bibliographic metadata, including titles, authorship information, publication details, and other relevant metadata, to support long-term identification, indexing, and retrieval.

7. Repository and Self-Archiving

Authors may deposit permitted versions of their articles in institutional or subject repositories in accordance with the journal’s Copyright and Licensing Policy.

8. Preservation Transparency

JMHSR clearly identifies the digital preservation mechanisms currently available through its publishing platform. The journal will update this policy if additional preservation services are implemented in the future.
